First I'd like to say I've been lurking for awhile and I've gotten quite a bit of help from the members here so thanks!
Now, I just recently build a computer which is not completely finished. I need to add a graphics card, blu-ray drive. and a better cpu cooler but as of now my build is,
Intel i5-4670k(stock clock until I get the cooler)
MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard
WD 1TB 7200 blue drive
8gb of G.skill ram (2133MHz)
and a Rosewill Capstone 750W PSU
running Windows 8.
On to the question. I just downloaded the Metro pack from steam (Metro 2033, last light, and DLC). I looked at benchmark videos for my graphics "card" (intel 4600) and saw over 25fps+ from a few sources, however, when I run the game I get maybe 1fps. Every setting was turned all the way down. resolution was put on 800x600. I have a similar issue with League of legends performing no where near the reported benchmarks and rift is also running slow. So, is this normal? Am i doing something wrong or is something not working properly? I can understand not performing the exact same as the benchmarks but I feel like I am wayy off!
I plan on getting a graphics card soon, I'm waiting to see what Nvidia does with their prices and/or blackfriday/cybermonday deals, so until then I'll be using the same setup.
