Here is the layout since I'm new to the forum,

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within a week if things stay the way they are.

BUDGET RANGE: (USD $100-250) Before / After Rebates

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Watching youtube, duel linking with my HDTV to use as second monitor for movies, streaming. Gaming: Torchlight 2, Starcraft 2.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: HIS Diamond ATI Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 850Mhz and 1200 Mhz out of box OC'd (6 PINS for power) and 500W PSU

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: AMD FX 6100, MoBo: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P, memory - 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz Crucial Ballistix Sport 1.5v @ 1.6v. Case. One big Fan on side and a few fans around. Coolermaster AMD cooler. This Mobo is small and the GPU usesthe x16 and blocks PCI slot, and no room for anything in the last slot.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: US: Amazon, Tiger Direct, Microcenter, Fry's, New Egg

PARTS PREFERENCES: Honstly I have no clue if I should stick with AMD or go NVIDIA, they seem more expensive.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe (turbo mode)

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No room

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I need it to run stable on my system, I always have crashed sometimes during gaming only, BSOD, turbo, oc, or regular speeds. I recently upgraded from 4GB 1333 RAM to 16GB 1600

I cant get this card to stay stable, is it my MOBO? I know its on the low end, was not as informed about hardware until after I bought the computer. This card will crash on me in SCII and even torchlight sometimes. I was just running PCMark8, to benchmark my PC, and when it came to the first casual pc gaming test i got BSOD'd. So I know its the card. The card never gets hot or anything, and its already OC'd by default, dont wanna mess with that. I cant play around with the Voltage, only can OC it more, but that isnt a solution. It has a 6 pin connecter for the power or wires that go into it. 3 on top, 3 on bottom.

I want stable gaming, do I need to get a better card or better computer, give it to me straight. Please give suggestions. I could go up in price, but I dont think it would make sense with my setup. I dont even know what will work on this MOBO and with the CPU, and my power supply, so I need suggestions. Thanks for reading that, if more info needed I'll be happy to provide.

If your saying that your GPU overclocked try to down clocking a couple of mhz maybe to stock speed because if its overclocked it does consume more wattage. It could be your system power supply might not be giving it enough juice, is that the only thing in your system that is overclocked?

Yes, only with games, and once with Prime 95 and PC mark 8. GPU is OC'd out of box to 850 and 1200, i can lower the 850, but the 1200 I cannot. I have Cool & Quiet on to keep my voltage and muliplier from bouncing like it did without. I'm running it with Core Performance Boost so it runs avg. 3.6, but goes from 1400-3900. I upped the CPU voltage to just below 1.5v and the memory is at 1.6v . I'm not sure if the Mobo was designed for 1600Mhz Ram as it says 1333+OC on the gigabyte site, but on the RAM SPec sheet it says 1600. So IDK, started to happen more frequently once i upgraded ram. But during the test I had it at 1333.
