Hi All,

I am looking to put together a somewhat portable(miniITX) low end gaming PC. Willing to expand the budget if it makes sense. Would like to spend my money on the graphics card and save a bit on the processor. I am located in Singapore so please refer to the price lists down bellow.

Thanks a bunch!!!

Approximate Purchase Date: within next two weeks

Budget Range: under 800USD/1000SGD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts Not Required: mouse, speakers, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:

Country: Singapore

Parts Preferences: TFT panel LCD and microATX in mid tower (the more portable the better)

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: higher the better, would prefer a 'normal' aspect raito

Additional Comments:

  • Smaller the profile of the PC the better
    Need WiFi
The case doesn't need to look nice, just portable and be able accommodate whatever the parts picked.
    Onboard sound

Oh hey !

Nice to see a fellow Singaporean.

Don't limit yourself to Sim-Lim Square and Funan , you can order Stuff from Amazon and get free shipping when you order over SG$125.

Low end gaming PC ? With $1000 , you could play BF3 at ultra settings !

Hello to another Singaporean. Yea,i agree with Ironbatman,i saved a quite a bit when i ordered my gpu from amazon. Saved 130 SGD.That's a substantial amount.

As for your screen, you could consider getting it second hand.Have a look through the HWZ marketplace. You might be able to find a seller. Again, this is personal preference.if you want a new set,by all means.

this is a Dual Band wireless Adapter. If your Router doesn't support it , then get the cheaper single-band one.

Does the warranty still works when the GPU is shipped to Singapore. Cause I was thinking to get some parts from Amazon too. What to do when you receive the GPU and its not working or after awhile it breaks down. does Asus singapore accept the warranty?

You have to contact the manufacturer and RMA with them. You still have a warranty, just not in SG. They'll tell you where to ship the item. You can consider the savings you get now as investment for RMA.
The distributors here won't honor the warranty. I'm against the local distributors on principle.Bloody ripoffs

If any product you purchase from Amazon is " dead on arrival " , then Amazon would send you another one.
