As you can see they both have similar performances. Even if you OC the HD 7870 , it would still beat the GTX 660 ti.
The HD 7870 comes with 2 Free Games while the GTX 660 ti only comes with batman arkham origins.
So of course the HD 7870 is a better deal

I would look for a 7870le/7870xt since their prices have come down quite a bit, and that card is real close to a 7950 since it is essentially a 7950 with one less gb of ram and a few less shaders. It uses the Tahiti core, which is the same as a 7950/7970. If you ever decide to crossfire, the 7870le/7870xt will only work with another 7870le/7870xt, 7950, or 7970.
