BSOD Issue with new PC

I'm having issues with BSODs on my new PC :
Intel Core i5 4670k 3.40 ghz
ASrock z87m extreme 4
Kingston RAM 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
Nvidia 760GTX 2GB
Corsair TX650
WD Black 1TB
Running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

During the first two weeks i had no issues at all untill the 17th of October where i had my first BSOD.
At first i was not worried and thought it was just a random BSOD that occured due to a small error or some sort of bug but than it came back again two days later.
After the second BSOD i ran Memory tests, Hard Driver tests, installed slightly older drivers for my Nvidia cards, turned off alot of unnecessary programs which came with my MOBO drivers such as intell share since iv'e found reports of Intell C-sec,share storage etc. to be the cause of BSODs on some systems so i turned them off all from start up using MSconfig.
7 days passed and i thought one of the things i did, fixed the issue but to my surprise it didn't fix it. Iv'e recieved another BSOD last night while playing a game.

Here's the info from the 3rd party program "Whocrashed" and from Microsoft's Windows 7 error reports

Bug check description: This bug check indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred. This bug check uses the error data that is provided by the Windows Hardware Error Architecture (WHEA).
This is likely to be caused by a hardware problem problem. This problem might be caused by a thermal issue.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

I used HDtune to check my HDD and it's compleatly healthy, 0 errors. I've used Microsoft's memory diagnostic to check my memory on my PC and no errors, iv'e used a 3rd party program(it was called Memtest i tihnk) which i had to put on a USB and than launch my PC thru it to check if my RAM memory is okay, again 0 errors.

Now i have updated my Bios to the latest version which is according to the ASrock website 1.60 and iv'e updated the Nvidia drivers to the latest one (21st October)
I'll see if the BIOS update fixed the issue or if maybe somehow the driver update fixed it.

All temperatures are fine, while idle my CPU Cores are at 29-31 C , GPU is at 29-32 and everything else such as HDD , Mobo are also only around 29-35 C while idle. GPU temperatures while under heavy load only go up to 80C for a short time but that's only in extreamly demanding games such as Metro last Light but the game i play the most Planetside 2, only pushes the GPU to 70C max, CPU never goes above 65 C.

Just in case, I'd like to here suggestions from experts about this issue, give me more things i can check on my PC to see what might be causing these weird random BSODs. They don't happen often, sometimes theres a 2 day gap, sometimes it's fine for 1 whole week.
I've only recieved the BSODs while playing video games.

I'll report back if the issue has been fixed in the next few days or maybe even weeks since this BSOD is compleatly unpredictable and has no pattern at all, untill than feel free to post suggestions on what else might be the cause of this and i will check it and report back.

[strike]*SOLVED*

I have removed Windows 7 and installed Windows 8.1 Pro, it's been a week now and no BSODs so far, looks like upgrading to Windows 8 fixed this issue for me.

My best guess is, something went wrong during Window 7's installation which caused some sort of driver issue that conflicted with my hardware causing BSODs.

If the problem returns I'll update my thread but for now the problems seems to be solved[/strike]

*UPDATE*
After two weeks it's back again, i literally have no options anymore, guess i'm just stuck with a PC that like to BSOD sometimes. Only thing i can try is to buy another new PSU and MOBO but i'm not really crazy to throw even more money away. I'll just have to learn to live with occasional BSODs every now and than .

The 124 code just lets you know roughly the subsystem that needs tweaking, you might as well run the CPU/MB at standard parameters and this is still required. But if you are running at default speeds i would recommend setting all BIOS options manually (not automatically) to their default values and then see if you still get the BSOD.

Where can i find the default values for each option ? Everything atm. is set to auto, iv'e also noticed than Intel's CPU boost is on.
