Windows XP setup not booting ...

i got an error saying NTLDR is missing and then inserted my windows xp OS dvd and now the system stops at boot screen(first screen with bios F2 on it) and doesn;t go further.. Please help..

    if your trying to boot from the DVD, go into your bios and temporarily set the DVD drive as the 1st drive in the boot order. After you run your repairs, or etc, just remember to set your HD with the OS on it back to 1 in the boot order.
