As the title says, is it worth upgrading?

I mainly use my sytem for gaming Bf3 now and Bf4. i have gtx 560.

And i always run on 1080p monitor in low or medium settings.

someone asking my mobo dx58so and i7-950 for 300$. Should sell this current config and buy i5-4430+with z87 chipset.

What i think is, i can overclock my i7-950 cpu, as i just bought H100i cooler, so my cpu will be good for another 2 yrs. And i found that overclocking is not allowed in non-k haswell cpu.

So should i sell my mobo and cpu and upgrade to haswell. it it worth it??

im also thinking like that. save more money in 2yrs and upgrade entir cpu+gpu+mobo at once.

but i dont think i can resell my cpu+mobo at that time. so im confused.but isnt it the computer components supposed to get cheaper over the time?

Someone plz compete with intel )

I'd go for the I7 4770k/3770k you'll definitely miss having an I7 if you pass it up. since haswell doesn't need great motherboards unless you plan on overclocking you can cheap out on the motherboard to get an I7 4770 (non k) which will definitely be much faster for rendering and livestreaming, If you're only planning on gaming It's a choice between the FX 8350 and the I5 4670, the thing about the FX 8350 is that it might be more future proof and is definitely the better overclocker of the two.

UPDATE
The 'NEW' word tempted to go with haswell, so i upgraded to

i5-4440 3.1Ghz (from i7-950 3.1ghz) with H100i cooler
Gigabyte H87M-D3H board (from Intel DX58SO)
2X4 DDR3 Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz rams (from 3X2GB kingston value ram @1066 Mhz)
MSI Gtx 560 1GB unchanged.

But DISAPPONTED for this following reasons.
1)I play only BF3 , most of the Time TDM 16 players in LOW settings,The game never lagged or bottle necked the i7-950, but it is lagging and bottle necking the i5-4440 , as i can see in task manager. And unfortunately i cant even overclock it.

2)And with HD4600 ,BF3 @1080p in low settings.its a slide show. And crashes after few seconds.

So i say again ITS NOT WORTH UPGRADE.

Troubleshooting updating the graphic drivers didnt help too. However im gonna use GTX560 so didnt cared about HD 4600.

Finally first gen i7-950 is far superior than Haswell i5-4440, in my experience.
