I have a decade old Canon BLC-2100SP printer running fine in my old XP 32 bit system. But when I upgraded to Win 7 64 bit with new system I can not get the printer work. System is not recognizing the printer.Probably a driver issue. But over the net I can not find the driver for Win7 alone forget about 64 bit. Win 7 update not doing any good.
Before I buy another printer please shares any tweaks to made it run. It is pathetic that a printer with USB interface can not run on Win7 only because it is old. Thanks in advanced.

I also looked to see if there were any similar BJC series drivers from Canon, but it appears that there are no drivers after XP 32-bit for any of the BJC series, from the 50 to the 8500. You will have to get a new printer. The only work round would be to install XP on your machine either as dual boot, or as a virtual OS, so that you could use your printer, but it may be easier to get a new printer. It may also be that Canon could discontinue the ink cartridges as well, if the printer is getting older.
