I had a quick question:

I'm looking at new laptops and I've run into this choice. What do you think would be the better for all around performance and graphics:

4th gen intel i3 (4005u) and an Nvidia geforce GT 735M (1G)

OR

4th gen intel i5 (4200u) and intel HD 4400 integrated graphics

Each upgrade option (CPU and card) is $50 and I was wondering which option would give me the most bang for my buck!

Thanks!

735M, being a mobile chip, and quite low on the spectrum from Nvidia, I would say to skip it. Probably can't beat out a GT610, which is about the level of an HD4000, HD4400 would probably surprise you and you gain the CPU performance.

735m > HD anything from Intel. That said, it is still a somewhat poor GPU. If you aren't looking to play the high end newer titles, it will be OK.
