I want upgrade my dell 745 with memory..but dont know which will be faster.

Which memory guys do you suggest me ? and Do yo think processor Im bought will be good for this older motherboard?
I will appreciate any suggestion.

Im not sure if my stock 275W power supply will be enought for processor Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6800 2.93 GHz Quad-Core I was buy..but I will try .. whats happen.so do you think I can use in dell small factor 1066 mhz memory?If yes...I will but this memory..you suggest.

CPU should be ok, the extra amount of power need is very small.

Make sure you flash motherboard to latest BIOS version before switching cpu's, to ensure compatibility.

You may also need to swap the heatsink, as the QX does pump out more heat that the current cpu, but 3rd party heatsinks are cheap enough.
