Hi, I recently over clocked my computer. Cpu to 3.950Ghz 171 bus speed and 23x multiplier, and the problem is this my Evga x58 Bios is saying the targeted memory clock is 1714.MHz but after I save and leave the Bio's, the Bio's start up screen show my Cpu at 3.950MHz, but the memory is 1370.MHz. And in windows Cpu-z is saying the same thing.

My system is:

Motherboard: Evga X58
Cpu: Intel I7 940 normal clock 2.95GHz - Over clocked to 3.950GHz
Memory: G.Skill Tri channel 6GB F3-12800CL8T-3GBHK
Video card: XFX 295 GTX Over clocked

Okay I now know what was wrong i had my multiplier set to high and my mother board was setting it self in to a auto setting for the memory. So i had to drop the multiplier down to x21 and up the Bus speed. Now the Memory is Overclocking a long side my CPU.
