Okay,so right now I have 660 Ti and I want to upgrade my GPU to play on Ultra. But I can't choose an option.
A) GTX 780 for 900$ [ -200$ (I will sell my 660 Ti)]
B) Another GTX 660 Ti + SLI supported motherboard for 500$
C) GTX 770 for 500$ [ -200$ (I will sell my 660 Ti)]
D) HD7970 Matrix Platinium for 650$ [ -200$ (I will sell my 660 Ti)]
What should I do ?

None. Get an R9 290X. Also, what country are you living in that the GTX 780 is $900? Australia?

Regardless, the R9 290X outperforms a Titan across the board and is cheaper than a GTX 780. Sounds unbelievable, right? Well here are some benchmarks:

It's an amazing GPU. In the US, the GTX 780 is $650 while the R9 290X is $580. Clearly, the R9 290X is the best single-chip GPU available today, and it's be an injustice if you didn't get it.

UPDATE: Here's the only R9 290X I could find in Australia. It hasn't been released just yet, but it should be coming out soon, sometime in early November I believe. It's 769 AUD.

UPDATE 2: Did I mention it comes with a free copy of Battlefield 4?

What are the prices of R9-280X/290X in your country?
I feel that 660ti is a very good card and will survive a little more time in the battle, until the next-gen 20nm cards are released.

God dammit 290X will be 900$ here (it's not out yet) and 280X will be 400$.Actually the prices I gave (in the first post) were 30% discounted. So the 290X will probably be 630$.
*sigh* I hate my country sometimes, everything is so expensive.

BTW I live in Turkey not Australia

Well, if you're comparing prices, USD wise, the 780 just dropped to $499, and yeah it performs a tad bit slower, but it also doesn't reach 95C. Those temps are atrocious.

I think I'm going to wait for the 290X,630$ is a reasonable price (at least here).

Even in India prices are high. Except for US/EU prices are high everywhere :(

280X - 390$ here [yours is 400$ so close enough]

Yea those temps for the R9 290X are pretty bad, but once manufacturers start putting on custom coolers we can expect some much better temps.

Also, the 780 and 290X are a mere $75 apart (in USD). Considering the performance difference, I still say the 290X is the winner, especially when you consider that to get another step up from the GTX 780 used to cost another $350 (GTX Titan) and it was for a much smaller performance difference at that!

I have a 270x that ran bf4 beta on ultra with around 55 fps, for about 200 dollars, and since this is comparable to the 660 ti I would just stick with that for a few months.
