I'm going to be purchasing one of these CPUs for my next build, and I just wanted to check that these two processors perform the same at stock speed. I'm not going to over-clocking and could save £15 by getting the locked CPU.

Is there any difference between the two, apart from the fact that the 'k' is unlocked?

None at all, they're the same at stock speed.

What Pepito said. Overclocking is the only reason K-variants exist.
