Alright, I just did my first overclock. As my attachment shows though are two different outcomes. Are the core speeds different because of the program or should I be worried?

My specs are in my signature.

I disagree. I think its better to use Turbo, and just have the overclock on the turbo settings. As then it can run nice and cool when not loaded and only up the speed when needed.
did u watch the speed as it did the stress testing? it may have been showing 1500 when the program may only have been looking for its max speed or something. Could be glitched or could be a power saving feature when the cpu isnt stressed. Try another program to look at speed. Hwinfo64 shows avg, max, min and current of alot of things including cpu speed

Yeah, completely forgot about that, the first one seems to max out your processor first, CPU-Z just measures what it is at currently, and by default, most have a power saving option that will reduce the clock speed to save power and make it run a bit cooler (although it's really best to turn that off).
