My computers graphics card

Ok so! My computer is a windows vista HP Pavillian a1730n and it wont let me play minecraft because of bad drivers and when i try to update it doesnt work so one thing i need to know is if its the graphics card. Which card do i get? And if it isnt that what else could it be

No ATI graphics driver installed or the ATI driver is not functioning properly install the ATI driver appropriate for you ATI hardware

Download the new driver and save it somewhere you can find it again. Uninstall the old drivers and reboot, if you get an error while uninstalling them try again in safe mode. then install the new drivers that you downloaded.

On my computer my graphics card is nowhere found i looked all over in my computwer but it sas no graphics card is even on my computer. So ive tried to install the drivers but its never worked. So like i said the computer says no graphics card is even here so i think its fried

What is your monitor plugging into? The on-board GPU or the GPU

It is what the monitor is plugged into at the back off the computer. lets try and look for a peace of hardware that is not active.

Start > (right Click) My Computer > Manage
(Left Column) Device Manager

Has anything got a yellow warning symbol next to it?
