Well there is meant to be price cuts. I see the Gigabyte OC is $389, that seems reasonable.

Killer card there, bought one for myself when they were around 400 bucks. A little upset I didn't wait, but that just means cheaper prices for the second once I feel comfortable enough financially to grab another and SLI those bad boys.

120+ constant FPS on high settings in BF3 - I have a 120 HZ monitor, so rather than ultra settings with sub-par FPS, I strive for great settings with awesome FPS. Good balance in my books.

Of course, this is only a 2GB edition..

For 4 GB:

EVGA 4 GB, 1150 core / 1202 boost clock -- $439

MSI 4 GB, 1137 core / 1189 boost clock - $399; $384.99 after $15 rebate

I think that MSI card is a steal, personally.

Okay, true story.

I just built a system last week. I bought the MSI gtx 770 2GB for $400 from Microcenter price matched from newegg.

Today I finally have everything running to my satisfaction. I decide to browse tomshardware only to see the title of this thead. I thought, LOL what a fracking idiot! What moron thinks he can get a 770 4gb model for low $400s?!? I was ready to come in here and lay the lumber to the poster telling him he must be thinking of the 2gb cards. I was all ready to post a newegg link to how much more a 4gb is to their 2gb counterparts and then I saw the MSI 770 4gb went down to $400.....

So what did I do? I looked at my receipt to verify I bought the 2gb for $400 and indeed I did. I also noticed computer parts have a 15 day return window and today was the 15th day. Fast forward to me feverishly uninstalling the vid card and boxing it up nice and running down to Microcenter to see if I could price match the 4gb version to newegg and do a straight up swap for my 2gb card. Sure enough they did eventhough the price sticker on the box said $549. The eyes widened on the sales persons face when he saw the newegg price match difference.

So I walked in the store with a 2gb card and walked out with a 4gb card without opening up my wallet.

After I installed the card I went to this thread to post a thank you to the poster who got me to look up the prices in the first place. I saw that someone recommended a few vid cards with links including the one I just installed. And it turns out that card just SOLD OUT MINUTES AFTER I PRICED MATCHED MINE. This is important because I believe in-stock items are the only things available for the price match that Micocenter has. Had I seen this thread 15 minutes later or hell, just a hit a red light on the way to Microcenter I would have just wasted my time and overpaid for my 2gb.

Oh and thank you LBCvalenz562!!!!!! Free upgrade for me!!!!!!
