780 for videos and 780ti for gaming- If you edit more videos rather than gaming, go for 780. If you do intensive, multi monitor gaming at ultra and 4k resolution, go for the 780ti. Thats what I think ;)

I mainly game at ultra settings on a single monitor, however I do plan getting a second monitor later. I don't plan on 4k anytime soon. Thoughts?

The 780 should still do if you are not doing any 4K gaming. The 780 can also support multi monitors @1080p. However, if you are willing to spend a little extra, you won't regret getting the 780ti- it is capable to multi 4K displays and the best graphics settings possible should you choose to do so in the future.

SO, If you want to save a bit of money and are definately not doing any 4K- Get the 780. If you wan't to spend a little extra to get the best and might think of multi monitor @4K in the future- get the 780ti

hope this helps!!
