Forgot to delete installed OS before replacing it

Hi everyone

This my first time installing an OS myself and I forgot to delete the partition containg the current OS before installing the newer OS
This step: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/operatingsystems/ss/windows-7-clean-install-part-1_11.htm .. I'm stuck now on "expanding Windows files" step at (0%) for about an hour now. What should I do now.. Please help me!!

Turn it off. Restart installing the OS, and delete ALL the partitions before installing.

I just did that and the computer directs me every time to startup repair scan both while the cd is in or out. And the result is "start up repair cannot repair this computer automatically"

Set the bios to boot to the DVD drive first.

It's already set that way.

You could always take the HDD and connect it to another computer and reformat it there.

You have a partially installed OS which is corrupted. The only way to fix it is to reformat the drive.
