I'm building my PC next week, and I've decided on all parts of my build. I was just surfing the web, till I came across this - http://ark.intel.com/products/75123
The CPU I'm getting is an Intel i7 4770k, and I was planning on getting quad channel 1866Mhz memory, and my mobo support speeds up to 3000 (OC). I'm pretty sure I've seen others with high speed RAM too. On the website I linked above it says it only supports 1333/1600 speed ram. I'm really confused right now and forgive my noobish-ness. :p

Solution
1333/1600 is the suggested DRAM freqs the CPU natively supports per spec, the 4770K can generally run 1866 while still at stock and with a bit of a CPU OC the CPU can run much higher, I'm running 32 GB (4x8GB) of GSkill 2666 Tridents on my 4770K and have them up to 2800

I won't be overclocking for a while, so I've decided to get Crucial Tactical Memory @ 1866Mhz, rather than the G.Skill 2133Mhz RAM I was planning on getting. Hopefully it runs on stock speeds w/o overclocking.
