Solution
One beep usually means a successful POST. And the computer should display on screen.

Do you see anything on the monitor?
Is the monitor connected to the motherboard or Video card?
Is the 8 pin EPS power connector connected to the motherboard?
Is the 6&8 pin PCI-e power connectors connected to the Video card?

You did not give a lot of information in your post so I have to ask the basic questions first.
Any and all information you can provide will help solve your problem faster.

well the nothing dispalyed on the monitor. it was as if nothing was plugged in. yes it was connected. everything was connected. to be honest, i realize it doesnt sound like a beep at all. its sounds like when you "flick a pin". the weird part is, the START and RESET button lights up in the motherboard which means it gets power. right?

Glad you got it working. May I ask what the problem and solution was ?
That way another member with the same problem can find the answer without having to make a post.
