I want to do a clean install of Windows 7 on my SSD. My setup is a 64GB SSD used for booting and a 500GB HDD used for storage of applications, games, docs, etc. Now, my problem is that apparently some programs store things on the c: drive even though they were told to install on the other drive (d: in my case). I also have some things on my c: drive that I'd like to keep. The only thing that really comes to mind, though, is Uplay (it did not allow me to install on other drive), some stuff from THQ from the Darksiders game that didn't install on the d: drive and also there's a Marvel folder in there that I'd like to keep as well. I have drivers that I guess I'll just have to re download.
My question is I don't know how to go about doing this. I do not know if those issues that I brought are actual issues or if doesn't matter. I just want it to be done right, basically. My reason for doing this is that I have only 1-2 GB of space left on the drive. I have followed all the tutorials to relieve space and managed to get 5GB free (that was 2 days ago) and now I am already back to 1.5GB. How? I do not know. I haven't installed anything on it, other than updates. Unless there is another solution to freeing up space on my drive I would rather just do a clean install and try to keep everything on the d: drive as much as possible.
