I plan on either getting the gtx 660 or the radeon hd 7870. the 660 comes with 2 games i will definetley play. All i do on this computer is game, so is it worth it to sacrifice the 2 free games and get the 7870 which is now the same price as the 660, or does in not matter because i wont be able to use the cards abilitys because of what i use it for. btw my cpu is i5 2500k

Go for the 7870 XT. It is pretty much a under-clocked 7950 and should have been branded as the 7930. The 7870 XT will be a good bit better than the 660 and the normal 7870.
Regardless of the games since you are a gamer I would get the best GPU you can get for the money. If the 7870 is faster and I think it is faster than the GTX 660 then that is the one I would get. The free games are nice but if the GPU is slower does it really matter?

Again I would get the faster card because I do not think free games should ever be the factor on which you make a buy like that.
