I already have an Intel Core i5 650 2 cores, four threads @ 3.20 ghz and upto 3.33 ghz with turbo boost and i'm wanting to buy a Sapphire R7 260X. will my cpu bottleneck my New Gpu?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Intel Core i5 650 @ 3.20 Ghz

8Gb of ram @ 1333mhz

Cooler Master i500
500W power supply

I dont have enough money to buy a new processor.

Also i wanted to know if it will bottleneck, by how many fps will i lose when i play a game like BF3 or BF4 on High with a 1280x1024 moniter.

Thank you :)

Given your resolution you will be just fine. At 1080p or so there might be some performance loss since you CPU is only a 2 core and games do not use HT but at 1280x1024 I feel you will not have any problems.

The thing with bottlenecking is there is always going to be some bottleneck some were in the system and that is going to be the weakest link. But as to whether that is going to hurt performance or not depends on the hardware. In the end you will be OK.

Somehow i doubt it, i5's are usually more then enough for most modern games.
Especially since a lot of games (with a few exceptions) don't use more then two cores.
