Hello Tom'sHardware Community,

1st timer, I love the x58 chipset (fire wire 800) for music production and gaming even with one 7870 (Dell 9100 motherboard Mobo limits) at that time. I just became disabled veteran but I'm behind the ball curve (while getting hurt oversea/rehab/H. Discharge/settling in hometown). 20 months later, things has change (PC World really changed).I don't get LGA 1150/1155/2011, i7 3770k/4770k /8350 Amd, pc community says each are just as good as 4770k/3770k/8350 Amd (lol). I can’t find mobo to match CPU and my SPECS (Looking for 3 months now) with fire wire controller (old school) without the mobo suffering some type of downgrade interface. Money, I do budget well (Micro center/Newegg/eBay) don’t mind open box (last gen tech) I still get a warranty. Well Guys and Gals your help.
I'm working with now:
i7 390 Overclock to 4.0 GHz
Rampage Extreme III (used) just got
1 DEVIL 7870 (made exclusively for NEWEGG). Can’t get another one I wish .
1 7870 PCS+ GHZ ED. Special (Both from Power Cooler)and its NOT A MYST version. Can’t get another one I wish.
SAMSUNG 120 840 SSD and Seagate 2TB SSHD (HYBRID)
4 Vulcan 1600 9-9-9-24 1.5v (6x4)24GB
CASE COOLER MASTER | TROOPER R
PSU ROSEWILL|1000W LIGHTNING-1000 R
CPU THERMPASTE|AS5-3.5G %
CPU CLEAN|ARCTIC CLEAN ACN-60ML %
(Still looking for great cooler because I don't know what to get AFTER CPU/MOTHER BOARD)

Hopefully, some may have been here, I use Pro tools/MPC 2500/Motif 7music station (you get it).
Should I get rid of my Dell XPS Studio 9100/and or extreme mobo x58 ROG III (I love the PC Gaming) speed demon.
I AM SO LOST PLEASE HELP ME FIND MY WAY TO THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD.
AMD/INTEL IT DOES MATTER (NOT A FAN BOY) I'm too old for that. I'm sorry, I'm not yelling, I’ve just notice all caps were on. Thank you for your time and patience.

Okay, that build looks pretty nice, if you just want a crazy fast computer, I would keep most of what you have, but get an HD7990 or a Titan and a 9590 with a GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD7. At that point, you can't upgrade your computer much further.
