I'm having an issue with my Headphone Jack. I'm not sure if it's the jack itself our something else but when I plug a pair of Headphones into the jack only sounds comes out of the right side I've checked my Volume controls and done a test no sound out out the left when I do the test all the sound comes out the right side. However when I use a pair of Headphones that has a USB plug the sound comes out just fine it's only when I use the actual headphone jack that I have this issue. This leads me to think that there might be a problem with my headphone jack anyway I can fix it?

Solution
Try different headphones with the headphone jack. This way you will know if it is the jack or the other item you were plugging in that is damaged. Either way you might not be able to fix it. Some headphone wires don't often like to be soldered and will dissolve. In both cases it could be very difficult to find the damaged part.

If it is the headphones, it would be easiest to buy a new pair (or get another pair under warranty if possible). If it is the jack, you might be able to get it replaced by the case manufacturer. (Unless this is a laptop or the jack is directly attached to the motherboard.)

Does the rear headphone jack do the same thing? Or just the one on the front? Ensure the plug is going all the way in. Also, are you trying this with different sets of headphones, or only one? It might be the headphones.
