what is a good set up to overclock this ancient gpu?
Trying to revive this old system of mine. I put my extra Hyper 212 evo on this. lol
Motherboard is m3a78 pro, 600 watts power supply, 4gig ddr2 800 ram. At 26-27c on both cores.
Oc'ed at 3kmhz using ai suite.

Ram:
DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Timing 5-5-5-15
Cas Latency 5 (gskill).

Yes, its black edition. Took this pc out of my cabinet lol. I dont know anything about oc'ing. I want maybe 3.4-3.5.. Ill be checking the fsb and what not. Thanks for the input.

You can overclock it much further using the bios. You say your processor is a Black Edition yes? You should be able to clock it way further by using the multiplier. Assuming you know about stress testing, once you find the maximum stable multi, you up the fsb +1 and stress it until you find the maximum possible clock. G skill isn't the best brand around so if you experience some instability, you can underclock it. Also trying to keep the HT as close to default speed as possible helps with stability (default should be 800 or 1000mhz, although that option may be locked).
