My computer runs at about 30C idle and while playing games depending on the game it can run from 40C to 50C is this normal temp or is it high?

My specs are as follows:
-HIS IceQ X Turbo 6850 GPU
-AMD Phenom II x6 1055T 2.8GHz CPU
-ASRock 970 Extreme3 MOBO
-G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB RAM

I have stock Fan/Heatsink on CPU

Solution
That is about where you want it to be, any warmer and you want an aftermarket cooler. Either that or if you plan to OC you need an aftermarket cooler.

I don't plan to overclock because right now I can't afford to replace any of it and the warranty expired on all the parts.

Could you suggest a affordable aftermarket cooler?

I'm not sure if this helps but my computer has Side, Front, and Rear Intake with Bottom PSU outake and top outtake as well I believe a cooler that can push air up straight from CPU out the case would be best

Most often it'll be the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Coolers. Pretty Bang for the buck and compatible with most AMD and Intel CPUs. Your case won't really require it since your Temps are fine at Load but I'd always recommend an aftercooler anyway.

I see that you're using Vertical Airflow method which is fine.

Changing the rear to exhaust might help out a bit more but that is still a good setup, a good cooler if you dont plan to OC is the Coolermaster Hyper 212 plus, an even better is the 212 EVO. I highly recommend the EVO as it offers great cooling, and you can OC with it. I went from 60c under load with stock cooler @3.4GHz to 55C at load @4.1GHz. The cooler isnt really needed, as the temps are acceptable. If you dont like it, or its loud get aftermarket.

This is how it works, the 212 EVO beats any closed loop up until about the H80, past that the H100 or 110 is good. They arent THAT great overall, as they get beaten by some air coolers, and they are louder and expensive. Only get one if you have a 240mm rad (H100) and you really want to OC.
