Hello all, I'm looking for the best prebuilt system for $900 that I can get. The only reason I am not building it is that my father, (I'm currently 17 and jobless) is buying the computer for me, and only has 350$, so he would be financing the rest until Christmas, when I would pay off the rest, thus being charged no intrest with any no intrest for 6months plans. I know Dell has a shit finance report, and Alienware is overpriced, but I was looking at the Alienware x51 with the i5 processor for 849.99. It doesn't seem that bad, and I have a friend who has the same computer and is runs great for him. Does anyone else know any other good prebuilt computers for that price?

Must have: Windows 7, keyboard and mouse (Standered is fine).
Must not exceed $900 including sales tax.

I will use it for primarily gaming, ie: LoL, Rift, and some other games like Gta IV, Modded Skyrim, etc.

I have a job setup in the future, in which I will be buying my own parts and building my $2000 machine, so please don't tell me that I should wait, because I just need a computer for the next few months. (Gotta get that Elder Scrolls Online on launch!)

Thanks!

Does Newegg offer any financing programs like Dell? It will be payed off within two months full, I just am trying to get a computer as soon as possible and all I can do currently is finance.
Also, I think that might be too much because I would need the additional warrenty also, which would break 900 D:

i am getting a 24' monitor for Christmas from my mom, so currently I would be using my 19' LCD TV.

Also, noob question. But since there is a HDMI port on both computer and the tv, is all I would need to connect it a HDMI cable? Or would I need the DVI?

Also, here is the link to the alienware: http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-x51-r2/pd.aspx
I would be getting the 849.99 model stock, and the total price with discounts and shipping is 863.49, which is not bad.

Really, right now its I need a computer like asap, since I can't buy parts. But once I get my job in a few months, I'll be making cash, and buying my own computer and building it from scratch, ordering all the parts. And probably giving this computer to my girlfriend, so I think the Alienware will handle most mmorpgs on mid-high settings like Rift and GW2, which should be good for now. It should run those, being the card is a Nvidia 645, correct?

Also, this is the TV I have: http://www.walmart.com/ip/16775698?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=3
Is that going to be decent enough for a month or two, giving half decent graphics? Never used a TV for a monitor :3

No, the 645 isn't that great of a card. The 7870 is much, much better. I'd buy the ibuypower actually. It's got enough in it to last for a while, so you wouldn't have to build a new pc. If you wanted to, you could slowly upgrade it(new Gpu, new case, better Psu) before finally going all in and getting the exact Cpu/Motherboard you want.

That does sound awesome, however apparently my dad says to me, "No you're getting the alienware because we already decided on it." I guess I did agree on it while he was sleeping. Will the 645 atleast run games like Rift and WoW at med graphics?

For now I'm just going to go with 720p since I'm currently using my TV, but when I actually build my own system with a hefty GPU, i'l definitely be gaming in 1080p. Now to connect my tower to my monitor, is all I need a HDMI cable, connect the two, and I should be good to go?

Thanks so much for all your help dude, really appreciate it. Currently deciding whether to save up for when I get a job and just buy the ibuypower, or get the alienware now. I'm kind of impatient, but I'm 17 and jobless, and nowhere hires around here. (In case you were wondering, I've gone over 1 year without a gaming computer, this one is so slow it can't even run browser games QQ)

Edit: And I just looked at the website, and the ibuypower was discontinued >.> Any suggestions if you can find any around 800-900? I need to include sales tax and needs to come with a keyboard and mouse Dx

OR would I be better off making a custom build cpu from ibuypower, or upgrading the GPU to a 760 in the alienware for an additional $150?

What about: http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Gamer-Mage-D295/E/4476192

You can keep the video card(same as the Radeon 7870), or upgrade to the 760. Everything else is good to go, but I'd upgrade to the Xfx 550w Psu. You can downgrade to the fx6100, which will switch out to the fx6300 for free. I think you'll be under your 900 dollar budget with everything swapped out, plus shipping and tax.

Couple of free upgrades too. 2tb hard drive for the same price as the 1tb.

So the current video card in that will be good enough to run the games I want to play, GW2, LoL, Rift, ESO, WoW, Skyrim, all on med-high settings at 720p and maybe 1080p? Because honestly that setup is awesome as hell. I actually changed the case to the AZZA Armour case, because I personally like the look of having the big X, and then I upgraded to the 550 psu. Totals exactly $777. Awesome build for what I'm looking to do on a budget.

Yeah, the 270x is a capable card for sure. It'll play games at 1080p on High settings easily, WoW on Ultra too. That system also has some upgrade options if you get the 6300fx Cpu. You can toss in an 8320fx/8350fx Cpu in addition to buying a new video card. It'll serve you well as a basis for a brand new system if you so choose. I think it would be better to drop down to the 6300fx Cpu, save the money and upgrade to the nVidia 760 video card. You'll get better FPS in games, and it'll allow you something cheaper to upgrade down the line. An 8320fx Cpu is about 150, while a brand new 760 video card is 250. You might not even want to upgrade the Cpu, and just buy an Intel setup when the time comes.

I'm showing 762 with the 6300fx Cpu, 760 vid. card, the case you wanted, and the Xfx 550w Psu. Free upgrade to the 2tb HDD, and brand name Ram. Hell of a system for the price.

Thanks so much man, I really appreciate all the help you've given me. I'm buying that system tomorrow, so I can take advantage of the sale that's going on. You seriously have no idea how much help it is, since I really don't have any clue when it comes to hardware :3 Hopefully everything works when I get it and won't run into any issues, Thanks again!

Oh one more question, it says I can upgrade to a BLUray player for free. Will that play normal disc games, or am I better off sticking with the free DVD drive? I'll be streaming most movies, it's just a matter of disc games. (Will be giving this to my gf once I get around $1500-2000 to build my own, and she loves her Sims. About all she plays, trying to get her into MMO's :p)

I'd stick with the dvd drive. There are issues with BD drives in that you have to pay the fee to keep using it on new movies. Like, you buy a BD movie now, in a year you buy a new one, but you can't watch it because the software has expired. You could keep watching the movie you bought last year, but new ones are a no go. It's lame. That pc will last you a while, has the option to be upgraded, and looks nice. Not a bad buy man.

That's dumb as hell o: Hopefully everything will be connected, I've heard of certain people having problems with the HDD not being connected, and the "Billmelater" doesn't screw my dad over, because that's what we have to do since I only have $350 right now, and since it'll be paid off before the 6 months, no interest should happen. So thanks again man, I'm using that build for now and hopefully can run ESO on max/high settings whilst getting 35+ FPS :D

Should I attempt to run 1080p on my TV with the HDMI connection? Or just stick to 720p till I get a good monitor? Just need the best FPS, I know that 720p is better fps since it's slower, but if in 1080p + 35 FPS a second, that's great too :3

Sick, now is there any difference running my TV at 1080p (I suspect it can handle it since my Xbox is currently running at 1080p, or I just sound really stupid) and a monitor at 1080p? I know a good Monitor will give me better visuals, but will the TV be able to run it at 1080p just fine?

Not quite as good in games. However, it's best to spend less on the Cpu, and more on the Gpu. So, say you could get the fx6300(110 dollars) with a 220 dollar video card. You'd get better performance in games than a 220 dollar I5 and a 110 dollar Gpu. The 6300fx is about the baseline Cpu for good gaming right now. You'll do just fine with it.
