Hello Internet! I have decided that I want to build a new PC on Black Friday. This is my first time so I would like to have your opinion on the components I have selected. My objective is to build a PC that would last for 5 years. All suggestions and criticism are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Case: Corsair 350D

PSU: XFX 850W Black Edition

Motherboard: ASUS Gryphon Z87 mATX

CPU: Intel i5 4670K

RAM: Kingston HyperX Blu 1600MHz 8GB

GPU: EVGA SC GTX 770 w/ ACX Cooling

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i

Sweet rig, 5 years may be unreasonable, but that depends on you, having an open mind about updating as time goes along is a good thing, to that end with what you have I'd look to upgrade the DRAM freq to at least 1866 or pref 2133 now if budget permits, 1600/9 is entry level, even for simply gaming

I would definitely need to replace parts as they become obsolete. I was wondering if this build would last for 5 years without hiccups such as certain parts dying and I would like to know if the parts I've chosen are trustworthy and dependable. Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it.

So far as reliability goes, almost all the parts are excellent.

The one big exception is the H100 cooler.
Liquid coolers are less reliable than air coolers with more moving parts. They are also noisier and do not cool any better than a good air cooler in a nice case like yours.
Google "h100 leaks"
I suggest a Noctua NH-D14 or Phanteks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have heard of these cases of leaks before but I have a friend who has owned a H100 for two years and nothing has gone wrong so I will take a look at some more reviews and feedback.
