Do you think an FX 8350 processor with and R9 280x Sapphire Toxic OC edition will run BF4 Ultra 60+FPS

No. The r9 280x is basically a 7970. See this chart for some benchmarks

7970 averaged 52fps. Not a bad score, but you will need a 290X if you want to break 60+

From what I've heard Battlefield 4 which has just been released is now better optimised. So the results may change from the benchmarks which have been reported from the beta and not the final release. So you could see a high 50fps average. Also through the benchmarks I've seen the 280x toxic edition performing really well, and pushes more frames than the 7970. It even gets close to the GTX 780 on some results. This also depends on your resolution as I'm basing my results from 1920x1080

Besides 50fps+ is still pretty smooth 60+ just becomes a bonus and vsync friendly.

My 7970 GHz was getting me in the 60-70 range in the hour I played, on domination I even got into the 80s in smaller fights. I believe the toxic is quite a bit better than a 7970 GHz.

i have the fx 8350 (stock) and a 7970 oc'd to 1150 and on ultra with msaa off i get between 85-110 multiplayer. about 60 avg with msaa on 4x.

I believe you could get 60 frames. AMD's Mantle has come out too
