Hey all,

I'm seeking to upgrade my system with a new GPU and want the best bang for my buck. Mainly, I want to play PS4/XB1 games on my PC at 1080p, but want to spend less than a next-gen system doing so. Another bonus would be streaming games to my TV, such as through the Nvidia Shield.

Here's what I have:

Dell
Intel Core i7 920 QC (2.66GHz, 8MB Cache)
6GB Triple Channel 1067MHz DDR3
1.8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 GDDR3
850W

I've been looking at the GTX 660/760/770. At $330 The 770 is probably too much--I'm not very worried about future proofing since I'll probably upgrade my computer in a few years, The 760 looks great, but I'm not super picky about framerates as long as most features are enabled and graphics look smooth--at $250 is it that much better than the $170 version of the 660? Any other suggestions people might have for the above goals (such as streaming options cheaper than the Shield, RAM upgrades, etc)?

Here are the two cards I'm leaning towards:

Thanks for any help!

The 660 is at a great price point and only about 20% slower than the 760 http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_7...

Yeah, the 770 is very tempting, but it just seems like the 770 is a tad overpriced given the performance differential.

EDIT: And the 760 also seems similarly overpriced.
