So my brother asked me to build a cheap PC for him, his budget is around 300-350€ and he already has a 1080p monitor and a decent PC case. After some research, I came up with this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($108.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M LX PLUS Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($44.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($46.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 1GB Video Card ($77.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($44.99 @ Microcenter)
Total: $323.94

I'm not a US resident but the prices are pretty close. This build will cost 334€ in my country, and I can't go much higher. I was wondering if I could get a cheaper PSU since I'm not planning on overclocking anything (I can buy a Corsair 450W VS series which will save me ~15€) and grab an FX-6300 instead, but will the power be enough? Or should I change something else? Thanks in advance.

For a similar price you could have the FX-6300, possibly the best 'bang for buck' (or Euro!) processor around and a 7770 GPU which can handle quite a lot of games on high settings. I downgraded the PSU to a 400W CoolerMaster PSU and also changed the RAM to a 1x4Gb stick, a better configuration if you plan to upgrade in the future. Also, the RAM is at 1600MHz, as for a budget PC 1866MHz is unnecessary and may not run at clock speed out of the box.

Hope this helps :)

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor (€95.96)
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M LX PLUS Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard (€49.04)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (€43.84)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 1GB Video Card (€82.09)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply (€58.11)
Total: €329.04

stevydinho, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to buy such a pc for less than 350€ in my country, since there aren't any discounts at the moment. (I know it's frustrating not being able to compare the actual prices of the products because I live in a different country, sorry about that).
I have updated the list with the actual prices in €, and I changed the RAM with a 1600 one which saved me 5 euros. I still get this feeling that the PSU is a bit of an overkill, I could switch to this one:
Power Supply: Cooler Master Elite Power 460W ATX12V Power Supply (€42.34)
and save an extra 15€ that I can use to get an FX-6300 instead. Would this work?
