Can’t get Roccat kone xtd to work properly

So I’ve just picked it up and I’m having real problems getting it to work. I’m guessing it’s a driver issue as every time I try to change a setting using the software it crashes (not a complete crash but just the curse showing the ‘loading’ circle for 5 minutes only for nothing to happen). The mouse its self also just randomly stops working.

Anyone got any ideas?

I’m using them at the moment, I only got the mouse yesterday.

do you have any steel series drivers installed? i had the same problem and the roccat xtd mouse drivers and steel series drivers conflict with each other causing the mouse to stop working..

if so just uninstall the steel series drivers and mouse should work fine

This thread is also running. I'm starting to think it's an issue with Windows 8.1. Mine has worked great for a year under Windows 7, but after installing 8.1, the control panel no longer applies settings to the mouse.
