Improve this rig for same cost?

Hello all, can this rig be improved upon for the same cost, if not cheaper? I apprecaite ny and all comments.

Get an fx-6300 and use the saved money to get a better GPU.

That PSU is junk. Get a unit from Antec, xFX, COrsair, Seasonic.

What GPU would you recommend taking into account the cost reduction of getting the fx-6300?

I'll take a look at one of those manufacturers for the PSU

i play games on a Pentium G2030 (3ghz, 2 cores) on high resolutions (1600x1050) - i think FX 6300 will be more than enough if you get some decent GPU.

You need to choose the best performance card you can afford - check for example this chart: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html (not the best
And then see what cards are in your budget range and check for the best deal.
Check for example if you can afford 7870 or maybe you can afford the new AMD cards R9 270X. (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-r9-280x-r9-270x-r7-260x,3635-9.html)

All depends on your budget - calculate what you save from CPU and what can you afford for GPU afterwards.

Or if you know which games you will play, you can try to check benchmarks for them - there are some games that are better on AMD cards and there are some that are better with NVIDIA cards. Just google your game and check.

I, for example, play games with G2030 and AMD 7770 GPU and I am satisfied with the performance. Wont get ultra settings on newest games but I can play on high settings on a 1600 x 1050 resolution screen with no problems. I think i will be able to play also BF4 on some medium settings if i add some ram (i have only 4 GB)

And for the GB on the GPU - i think if you dont go more than 1 monitor your good enough with 2 gb for GPU.
