i am going to build a complex water cooling loop in a system rebuild i am planning, i have settled for the NZXT H630 case as it is much cheaper than the Obsidian 900D.

but i am wondering if i can fit radiators (3x120mm/2x120mm) and fans in the front of the case without getting rid of the HDD cages, i have a 2TB 3,5" hard drive i would like to keep in my system.
i am also wondering if a triple radiator in the top of the case will obstruct the top 5.25" slot,

thanks in advance!

okay... the 240 will fit in the front without any problems at all. It will allow you still retain one of the HDD Cages.

As for the top of the case, my advise is to use only 3x120 up top so you get no interference with the 5.25 drive bay cages.
Thus allowing you to use them..

Also I would recommend a nice tube reservoir over a bay res.

From NZXT's site:

Radiator Support:
Front 2 x 140 or 3 x 120mm
Top 2 x 140 or 3 x 120mm
Bottom 2 x 140/120
Rear 1 x 140/120mm

From the looks of it, you'll have to remove HDD cages to mount a rad and fans (even if you aren't going push/pull) at the front. Though, a 2x120mm rad at the front may or may not leave you with enough space to leave one HDD cage (not 100% sure).

But a top-mounted 3x120mm rad won't obstruct the top 5.25" bay.

are you sure i can't even fit a 2x120mm rad and a HDD cage? because that is all that i need.

not to go too much into detail, but my plan is to use one 2x120mm rad to provide cooling for my HD7990 and one 3x120 or 3x140mm rad to provide cooling to my CPU and chipset, and i want to use the two 5.25" bays for one optical drive and one watercooling reservoir

thank you!
by the way, why would you reccomend a tube reservoir over a bay res? is it that much of a difference? i just want a bay res for the visual aspect of it...

The major different is if you want to use Mayhems or other liquids. Some of the bays res tend to leave water sitting still or have dead spots in them.

This is why I tend to go to a tube res.
