Greetings,

So lately I will be placing an order for the following for an Low-Medium budget PC :
- AMD FX 4300
- Gigabyte Mobo
- 4 GB DDR3 RAM
- HIS AMD/ATI Radeon HD 5450 1 GB DDR3 Card

It will be my first build for my home's desktop PC. Which will be used by my sister (1st Year Engg.) for basic day2day course work. Nothing heavy work.
But since I will be visiting home once in a while, I will do some heavy browsing, basic editing and playing NFS racing games casually. Not at all an Gamer in any aspect as my eyes hurt a lot in FPS games.
But would want to give it a fair shot to the good ones.

My only sole purpose is the future upgradibility. Thats it.

So should I go for it or should I degrade the CPU and opt for better GFX or vice-versa. Because I have strict limited budget in my hand at the moment.

Thanx in advance. :)

A radeon 5450 can't play any games, it can just about run minecraft but I would recommend getting something a lot better if your going to play need for speed. I do have one (as a backup/spare) and its good for heavy browsing, It was alright when editing but I do have an intel i7.

5450 is good for browsing and media but not good for gaming :)

The thing with me is that it seems totally ok for me, as per as the gaming is concerned. Because in any way I will be upgrading to an medium to high GFX next year.
But I need something just to try out my hands for an day or two in an month.

Isn't 5450 can just play the games at an low quality. But atleast It can play.

Because I want to put the least amount of money at the moment.

To simply put it forward, should I get 5450 or just don't get any Gfx at all for the time being. As I wouldn't mind putting just a little money on 5450, even though I will upgrade the moment I have enough money.

I now so confused that I am giving second thoughts to Intel i3 or just getting an AMD Althon II x2 270 and good Gfx.
