Missing Pin Help

I purchased a Amd Athlon x 3 450 processor, 1 of the pins were bent and went to straighten it - it broke I lost the pin - can I remove a pin from another processor and stick it in the location where that broken pin was supposed to go //

It may work, it may not. I've seen staples work as well. It depends on what function that particular pin served. If it was just a ground pin, it will work, but if it was more "important", it will not. The only way to REALLY fix it is to have it soldered back on. Some watch places can do it.

thanks very much , i'm sure it was my fault - it's brand new - maybe i will just buy another // would you know if i need a different power supply this p.c. has a 300 watt
