Hallo!

The other day, i got a fancy new SSD for my rig. I already had a 2TB HDD, and want to keep that 2TB HDD for the majority of my data and programs. My issue is that i just installed windows 7 on the SSD and that's all fine, but what do to the old HDD?

First thing i want to do is remove windows off the old HDD so that it's just programs and files. Then i want to keep all my programs on my old HDD and still be able to run them all without having to reinstall everything. What do i do?

Hi,

First thing i want to do is remove windows off the old HDD so that it's just programs and files

easy way: once windows is reinstalled on the ssd, delete the windows folder

Hard way: clone your windows partition to SSD(sotime it works sometime it doesn't )

Then i want to keep all my programs on my old HDD and still be able to run them all without having to reinstall everything.

For the programs, some will be able to run without reinstalling while other needs to be reinstalled.
