Need some advice for a new gaming PC

Hi everyone, I'm from Singapore and i hope everyone can give me some opinions/tips/advice on the build. But I won't be OC-ing much. Thanks!

Your graphics will not fit inside of that case with the HDD cage:

Graphics - 308mm
Case - 270mm (with HDD Cage); 390mm (without cage)

To configure the RAM, make sure to enable XMP Profile under AI Overclock Tuner in BIOS/EFI.

Once that is complete, the memory can run at full speed DDR3-1866 CL9

I would change the case to something with a bit more room unless you don't plan on ever using many hard drives.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't plan on getting more than 1 hdd at the moment. But will it still fit with the ssd and hdd under the same cage? I know that the upper hdd cage can be removed to make space for the gfx card. Also is there any other parts that's cheaper but perform the same or even better? Thanks for all the tips and advice guys.

I would like to know whether is there any difference in vengeance pro and ripjaws x? Other than price and appearance. Both 1866mhz and 2x 8gb. Will any of these 2 have any compatibility issue with maximum vi hero?

The vengeance ram might have clearance issues with your aftermarket cooler. The high heatsinks often get in the way.

After going through the forum and reading the maximus vi hero manual, I will just slot it in A2 and B2 slots which will give more clearance for the cooler.

For the price of that air cooler, you could get a decent all in one water solution and not have to worry about ram heatsink clearance issues. Coolermaster Seidon 120xl for less or the Corsair H80i for a bit more.

They must really charge a premium over there. :lol: The seidon 120xl is almost $20 cheaper than the V8GTS on newegg. That much for an air cooler is insane. Hence why I have a Hyper 212 plus.
