GTX 670 or HD 7950??

I'm going to be upgrading my GPU soon and I'm not sure which one to get between the two mentioned in the title.

what about r9-280x

it is new and in the same price range and support future game technology

Because I don't have that extra £50-60. I'm a 17 year old student with no job right now. I'm looking mostly at value for money.

r9-270x it is only 200$

Yeah but the R9-270x is the equivalent of a 7870 which is less powerful. Would be better off going for the 7950 over the R9-270x.
