Hi all,
Bought a new PC today, installed with Windows 8.1 64-bit and we seem to be having some RAM issues. In BIOS is says that 16GB RAM is installed, over 2 8GB sticks. CPU-Z confirms I have 16GB of RAM installed over Dual channels and that it all seems happy. I've tried re-seating the RAM, testing each RAM stick to make sure no faults, switched the RAM over different seats, removal of battery, but nothing. I've been through Sys Config and unchecked, rechecked and unchecked boxes, but nothing.
Resmon says 13345MB has been reserved by hardware, but I don't know how to go about finding what has reserved it or how to un-reserve it for want of a better phrase!!!
Please help!!!!!
