Hi guys,

My current PC set up is:

Asus AM3 Motherboard
AMD Athlon II X3 435 2.9 GHz CPU
Sapphire Radeon 7850 1 GB Dual Fans Graphic Card
FSP Hexa 500W Bronze 80 Plus PSU
6 GB Corsair DDR3 1333 MHz RAM (1 2GB And 1 4GB RAM)
Windows 7 64 Bit Professional

I want to upgrade my CPU and MOBO cause my CPU is bottle-necking my graphic card.

I have a budget of 850 RM (270$) and I was wondering which CPU Mobo combo I should go for.

Currently my options are:

1)
CPU: AMD FX 6300 3.5 GHz: 429 RM (135$)
Motherboard: I dont know which motherboard to buy for this CPU.. cause this CPU is very overclockable, so I want a motherboard that I can do a mild overclock on. I dont want to do a crazy overclock, even a mild one is good enough for me. I am looking at something like 4.1GHz stable overclock. I am thinking of getting MSI 990FXA-GD65: 389 RM (123$)
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster 212 Evo 105 RM (30$)

2)
CPU:
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P32 : RM 215 (70$)
CPU: Intel i5 4570 3.2GHz : RM 620 (200$)

I am really confused as to what combo is better, the i5 combo seems like less hassle since there is no overclocking involved but the MOBO is quite weak, however that is all I can afford right now. I would really like some help in deciding which one I should go for.

Over all the first selection you have is better, because it can overclock, and it is better balanced. And since neither build with bottleneck you GPU anymore I would go with the FX. You will get more raw performance with the i5 but with the FX build you are open to upgrade farther in the future without having to change the motherboard again, while with the i5 you will most likely have to change the motherboard to upgrade much more.

Oh I see, I thought that since the i5 is using a LG 1150 socket that it would support the next gen intel. I am also thinking of just waiting it out for steamroller to release. I've heard that it will be a major upgrade to the Vishera series.

Thanks for answering. I am hoping to get a few more opinions before I mark this as answered.
