Hi,
I have an Asus p9x79 Deluxe motherboard and with it comes a bluetooth 3.0 wifi go adapter that sits on the motherboard. However when I put the bluetooth adapter on the motherboard, the PC does not power up at all. Everything is plugged in correctly, it just doesnt power up.

When i take the bluetooth adapter off the motherboard, and press the power button, the PC will work normally.

I have no idea why this is, not sure if the bios or system can recognise the device or if its conflicting with something.

Anyone got any ideas what the solution is or how I can find out how to fix it?
The motherboard and adapter is brand new so it should work fine...

Any help or advice would be appreciated...

Thanks
AJ

I have a Asus P9X79 Deluxe motherboard. Its totally overclocking supported motherboard with EPU and TPU and quad SLI/Crossfire with quad channel RAM support. It also has the dual internet ports with an added BT-GO 3.0 module for Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi support.
I have installed a fresh image of Windows 8.1 Pro before three months and everything was working like a charm. But recently I am facing issues with the BT-GO Bluetooth module, both Wifi and Bluetooth were working fine after sometime of installation but now somehow the Bluetooth has stopped working. The blue LED at the back of the module also been OFF, however there are no issues with WiFi as such, its still working fine. I have tried replacing the module too but still result was same. I suspected it to be a motherboard issue but when I have ran the same setup with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, everything started working again normally. I went to the driver downloads regarding Bluetooth for Win 8.1 too, but it seems there aren't specific to 8.1, although you can select the OS for which you want the driver but it keeps showing the Bluetooth driver for Win7 only. I googled the issue like millions of times but couldn't come up with any concrete information.
I don't know why it was working fine when I freshly installed it. Is it possible that any update from Windows is causing the issue? I am so fed up of doing all the things but can't work it out. Experts please help me out. I really need it.
