so Im building a system and I can't decide between those two motherboards. My CPU is 3570k. The main difference between them is this:

phase: -V (8+2) -V LK (4+1+1)
size : -V (Standard ATX 12*9.6) -V LK ( 12*8.8 which comes with only 6 screws)
price : -V ($240) -V LK ( $190)
heatsink: -V(contains one more heatsink)

both of those motherboards received a lot of bad reviews at newegg including and not limited to (DOA, bent pins, ram slots not working ...).

So all I want is a good quality board that will last. also I noticed that -V LK consume less WATTs then the -V , is that mean it will run cooler ?

More about : asus p8z77 p8z77

First take newegg reviews as a grain of salt because most of the time, those that gave 3 eggs or less is due to lack of research before picking the model they want.

I've build plenty of builds using both boards and both work great
And not sure where that price came from, but none of those board pass the $200 mark

I also have and like the pro, for the most part, those who are satisfied with their product aren't going to post one way or the other. The WiFi Go module was convenient for me, didn't have to buy a wireless card.

those are the prices at my local store, I converted the price to USD, I dont live in the US so I cant buy from newegg, I just like to read reviews there.

The price isn't an issue, what concerns me is the other differences, like the phase, size, quality of build...

Between the 2 you provided, go with the Asus P8Z77-V. It has 8 SATA ports and it's better for overclocking.
Difference between Asus P8Z77-V and Asus P8Z77-V Pro, Pro has 2x front USB 3.0 internal headers, in front of ram slot and the other next to 3rd PCIe x16 slot.

I have the pro, works great. The extra features are also great, its worth the extra money in my opinion. I currntly run the 3770k at 4.6ghz with a noctua d14, with a gtx 760, and 16gb or ram, 1tb hdd and 120 gb ssd. The reason i went for the pro was for the wifi and like i said before multiple features.

The only difference between -V and -V PRO, is that the PRO has an additional 2*USB-3.0 and 1 additional chassis fan connector, and for the phases the -V PRO (16) whereas -V is only (12). The price defference at my local store is $30.
I guess I will get the -V (non pro) version, which is enough for my needs.
