So, i Recently built my gaming PC. i have all the parts EXCEPT, the CPU. I powered my computer up and Nothing happens. Fans work and everything. GPU Seems not to be powered (gpu fan not spinning) And no display on screen , but its power connector is plugged in. Once i get my CPU will it fix the GPU from not powering? or is something wrong with the GPU? Don't want to RMA.

I have already posted this, but i felt like none of the answers where informative, Yes i know the CPU is important. i'm not trying to boot. just to power. Once i get my CPU will the GPU power?

Thanks.

I guess a better question would be why would you expect it to do anything if you don't have a CPU?

I'm trying to turn on my lights, I know the light bulb is important . . .

I'm trying to tie my shoes, I know the laces are important . . .

I'm trying to watch a movie, I know a screen is important . . .

and I did it without a car analogy . . . but I know an engine is important.

CPU = "Central Processing Unit"... that means it processes every bit of information you see on the screen via the GPU,.. that includes the Motherboard Logo, the BIOS Post and everything else from there on, even the blank screen tints that also change during the boot process as the display settings take over.
