MB won't POST after unplugging from mains.

I have a quite old PC which has spent a long time permanently plugged in and is usually in sleep mode.
The other day, I unplugged it for a few days and today when I plugged it back in, no sign of life. No beeps, no video at all.
Disks spin up, fans run.
PSU voltages are all there.
I have re-seated cpu and ram etc.
I have cleared cmos ram and put in a new backup battery.
Any other ideas?
Clearly being completely powered off and back up again has caused some issue.

Looks like a suspect reset switch!

I replaced two bulged capacitors and tried a different psu.

While messing about, I pulled the reset switch cable and it booted. The reset switch meters out open circuit and closes when you press it. No short to chassis either so very odd....

Anyway it's booted now but I have a cleared cmos ram and the raid controller has to be configured with a program on floppy IIRC!

So not out of the woods yet, but making progress!
