Should see an increase, alot will depend on what OC you have if any and what oC you are shooting for, if any, regardless should be seeing and increase or can...On the Hyper 212, no worries, the fan is adjustable height wise and won't affect cooling to any real degree if it has to be raised a bit (raised my on the 3570K build to allow GSkill Tridents underneath and still runs very cool with the 3570K at 4.7

Yeah should see things pick - the GPU is the biggie in gaming, but the better CPU can feed more and faster so will pick up some FPS
