I decided on buying a new video card yesterday, Asus GTX 660 .... I pick it up at micro center and go home to install it, first start up and I'm hit with "cannot find required man name" ... To make a long and sad story short, my mother board pooped out a day before BF4 releases... Just waiting on my new board to arrive and I'm gonna have a friend do the install. I was thinking about getting a new board since my old one only had 1 PCI eExpress 3.0, my new one is a Mobi AsRock Z77 Extreme 4...

I7 3.4 GHZ
8GB of Ram
Asus GTX 660

Would I be better off installing my GTX 560TI (old card) along with the Asus GTX 660 my new board is SLI capable or am I better off with just the single GTX 660?

Solution
Well the 770's and 780's just dropped in price yesterday, not sure entirely what your budget is or if you can take the card back.

As for the dual GPU configuration, at best you could use the 560ti as a dedicated physx card and that would give you zero benefit for BF4.
