I am looking into getting battlefield 4 for my pc. I had built it as a gaming rig couple years ago and want to know if it can handle it at on or around high settings. I love battlefield on PC by far so if it would be playable enough to enjoy please let me know. Thanks!! I want to get it today

I5-2500k overclocked 4.2ghz
Xfx Double D -- Radeon HD 6950 2GB
8GB Ram Sniper
ASrock z77 extreme 4
60GB SSD Crucial m4
1TB Seagate Sata 3

More about : run battlefield ps3

Yep, you should be able to handle it on medium-ish settings. It will still look better than the PS3 version! I would recommend upgrading your card soon though because it is getting a bit dated.

Yea I know it is definitely getting behind. Any fair priced recommendations you could make for me? $200-$300 range

Maybe a 760 or a 7970. Don't really know the US dollar sorry because I'm in New Zealand! :p

On ultra settings you will get around 25-30 fps (so high settings will be super playable).

Okay great thank you. I'm about to go from 15 Mb per second cable to 3 Mb per second DSL do you think that should affect my decision

Would ps3 vs pc interact differently with slower internet. Again would one run better at 3mbps than the other?

They would probably be about the same. I would stick to PC though because of quicker updates and 64 man servers :)
