I need help creating a new PC for gaming. As said this is my first time doing this, I asked around with people I know and they really couldn't help me much. I've picked out a FEW items on NewEgg, and I just want to know what else I need, if it all really is compatible, and how much better I can get around a $1500-$2000 budget.

EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2765-KR GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $264.99

Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced - High Air Flow Full Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and All-Black Interior http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $134.99

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-16GXM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $139.99

Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I73770K http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $324.99

Intel S1400FP2 Server Motherboard - Intel C600-A Chipset - Socket B LGA-1366 - Retail Pack http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $300.99

That's all I have so far.. Can I get some help, please?

Your motherboard is not compatible with your processor. You have a LGA 1155 processor selected and a LGA 1366 motherboard. Look for Z77 motherboards. You could save money and get 8GB of ram because that's all you really need for gaming right now. For $1500-2000 you could get a GTX 770 or R9 280X. The 770 recently dropped in price from $399 to $329. It may take a while for Amazon or Newegg to reflect the new prices but it's definitely a great price/performance ratio for that card.

This website can be a big help when building a PC.

Thanks, I used pcpartpicker, and I was over my current spending at the time, but considering what I was recently paid, I was able to keep this $2500 within the budget I have. Considering I have compatibility on, it should all work together. Just want to make sure before I order all of it.. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Wp0T

That looks like a really great build and I don't see any compatibility issues. Is there any reason you're ordering the wired network card though? Your motherboard has a built in ethernet port. Also, $170 is way too much for a 2TB hard drive. I'd suggest this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Also, a solid state drive (SSD) can make a big difference as I just recently installed one in my computer and love it.

That is a really good deal on one.
